Job Summary:
The Welcome Navigator is a phone-based role responsible for enrolling new members and welcoming them to our program. You will be the first point of contact for new members, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to navigate their journey with Pyx. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a goal-oriented environment and is passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-bound and out-bound calls to enroll new members and introduce them to our program.
- Manage daily goals and metrics while maintaining a compassionate and helpful approach.
- Ask health-related questions and provide relevant resources and tools to members.
- Communicate with members via phone, text, chat, and email to provide needed information and support.
- Make 3-way calls to community-based organizations (CBOs), health insurance companies, providers' offices, and other relevant entities.
- Assist members in accessing essential resources such as food banks, housing assistance, childcare services, and more.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional experience navigating the healthcare field.
- Bilingual proficiency preferred.
- Strong desire to help others lead healthier lives.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Google apps and the ability to learn new online platforms quickly with minimal assistance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a call center or telephone-based customer service or sales role.
- Knowledge of community resources and healthcare navigation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
