GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
2.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in data entry required with relevance of inventory required.
3.Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
4.Be able to work and communicate well with others.
5.Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information.
6.Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel and Word.
7.Must possess excellent math skills.
8.Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).
9.Background in inventory, especially cycle and physical counting, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
10.Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
11.Experience in maintaining inventory through Inventory Control Software. helpful.
12.Be able to work with little or no supervision and follow instructions.
13.Be able to take on assigned responsibilities for the department in the absence of Supervisor.
14.Must represent department in company meetings as required.
15.Must possess a valid driver’s license.
16.Be able and willing to provide own transportation. (Mileage reimbursement is provided when personal vehicles used for department purposes).
17.Be able to learn and follow BATFE and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations involving inventory, recordkeeping and storage.
18.Be able to learn and follow International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance as it relates to the department.
19.Be able to work all overtime as required. Late evening, weekend and last-minute overtime can be expected during and immediately following Fireworks season but not limited to the time period of May through August.
20.Willing to work altered shifts if necessary.
JOB DUTIES:
1.Performs functions to maintain all Pyrotechnique by Grucci (PbG) inventory (Fireworks, Government and all other projects that include materials which are stored or used during production). All transactions are maintained in the Inventory Control System.
2.Perform and review annual physical inventories as well as periodic cycle counts for Government, Commercial and Fireworks products.
3.Performs functions for all data entry in the Inventory Control System ensuring information is up-to-date and supply inventory lists as requested to both PbG and Fireworks by Grucci (FbG).
4.Performs functions to maintain receipt of all incoming materials, including entering the received quantities into the Inventory Control System against the Purchase Order and appropriate record keeping of shipping and receiving paperwork. Functions performed with scanning shall be reviewed for accuracy.
5.Receives training on all applications of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System including all barcode scanning functions.
6.Creates Bill of Materials (BOM) upon request from Production Managers and reviews for accuracy.
7.Produces Manufacturing Orders (MO’s) upon request from Production Managers and reviews from issuance to completion for accuracy.
8.Reviews all Inventory Control paperwork is received accurately, and all scanning functions related in inventory are posted accurately.
9. Ensure all Inventory procedures are followed using the appropriate paperwork.
10. Ensure Government and Commercial product are not stored together and building weight limits do not exceed the allowed limits.
11. Assist when needed to communicate with Accounts Payable, located in the FbG NY office, as needed, to assist with matching invoices to the receipt of material to ensure an accurate payment process.
12. Performs functions in maintaining all required Daily Summary Magazine Transactions (DSMT’s) per BATFE regulations and ensure all required paperwork is completed, entered accurately and filed for inspections.
13. Performs duty of pulling fireworks displays from magazines when necessary.
14. Performs functions of importing scanned information from one system to another.
15. Completes random inspections on storage of inventory compliance as instructed by Supervisor for all storage areas.
16. Assist in receiving processes when necessary.
17. Participate in GEMBA when required as an Inventory representative.
18. Must be committed to ISO and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies.
19. Shares accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
20. Responsible for keeping up to date on all ISO, BATFE and DoD regulations involving inventory.
21. Assist in BATFE and ISO audits.
22. File and maintain all department paperwork.
23. Obey all company work and safety rules.
24. Perform all other duties as required by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 lbs. with assistance.
2. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, or move throughout work area for 8-12 hours per shift.
