Position: Data Architect
Duration:- Contract – 12 Months
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Overview:
Our Financial is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support the design, development, and modernization of enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud data ecosystems (Azure preferred), data modeling, and data governance, along with financial services domain experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure data architectures (on-prem & cloud).
- Define and enforce data strategy, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Build and maintain enterprise data models and integration pipelines.
- Provide architectural oversight for data lake, MDM, and analytics initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10 years in data architecture and engineering.
- Expertise in Azure, SQL Server, Synapse, and Databricks.
- Strong experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and governance.
- Financial services experience preferred.
