Position: Senior iOS Engineer

Location: New York City, NY Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months with possible extensions

Description:

Senior iOS Engineer to join our team and partner closely with a leading financial services client. In this role, you will work onsite in New York City three days per week, collaborating directly with the client's iOS team to build and enhance their consumer facing mobile application. We are looking for an engineer with strong technical depth, problem solving skills, and a passion for delivering high quality mobile experiences in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver new features for a large scale, consumer facing iOS application.
• Break down product requirements into clear, actionable engineering tasks.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable Swift code.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to drive product vision.
• Review code, provide feedback, and support teammates to ensure high engineering quality.
• Identify issues, debug complex problems, and proactively improve application performance.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and process improvements within the team.

Requirements:

• 7 years of software engineering experience, including 4 years focused on iOS development.
• Strong expertise in Swift and experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns, ideally MVVM.
• Experience building high quality, production ready iOS applications with robust testing practices.
• Ability to work onsite in NYC three days per week with a cross functional client team.
• Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
