Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead complex S/4HANA implementation and conversion projects. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale SAP projects on time. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA functionalities and project methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management:
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project lifecycles, from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of project activities, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon scope, timelines, and costs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective resolution strategies.
- Manage changes in operational plans to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure project execution aligns with the project charter, scope statement, and project management plan.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional project teams, including developers, consultants, business analysts, and external vendors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex integrations across multiple systems.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams, managing expectations and facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and drive decision-making.
- Provide regular project status updates to management and project teams, actively seeking and addressing feedback.
- Manage deployment-related cutover and go-live activities, including planning and scheduling with data conversion and training teams.
- Manage post-go-live support, leading the team to resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proven experience (typically 10 years) in managing SAP projects, with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Activate or ASAP Project Methodology.
- Successful track record of managing multiple Full Life Cycle Implementations, ensuring end-to-end project delivery.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional modules is essential to effectively oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with complex system integrations and external interfaces.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to follow-up.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, adept at fostering a positive team environment while driving tasks independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Experience with RPA projects is a plus.
