What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Intern position at Pyramid Laboratories Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Intern will support the HR Team with various projects including, but not limited to Training Compliance, Job Description enhancements, File organization, Audits and implementing processes in ADP.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Job Description Updates
- Review job description templates for all current roles & partner with supervisors to add qualifications.
Assist with Launch of Requisition Process in ADP
- Partner with HR team to learn & launch Requisition Process in ADP
Training Compliance Review
- Create Training Compliance Chart to identify completion.
- Identify employees who have not completed required training
- Example: Harassment Training (Pryor Plus)
- Follow up with non-compliant employees to ensure completion
I-9 Form Audit
- Review all employee I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) forms
- Confirm each employee has a completed I-9 form
- Proper supporting documentation on file
- Flag and resolve any missing or incomplete files
Employee File Organization
- Organize all employee folders into designated storage boxes
- Alphabetize folders by employee last name
- Label each storage box clearly with its contents
- Include specific name ranges (e.g., Aburto – Anderson, Alonso – Brown, etc.)
- Available to work other shifts when necessary.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively, manage relations, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary : $22
