What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Pyramid Inc.?
Pyramid is seeking a full time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Pyramid will provide training in methods and procedures for being successful as a Direct Support Professional. Experience in working individuals with disabilities is not required, but helpful. Behavior Tech experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train and assist individuals of assigned group in areas of self-help, adult daily living, socialization, basic academics, skills development and leisure.
- Implement training and behavior programs
- Complete all required data entry and documentation
- Ensure that safety and health care practices are observed
- Assist with and participate in community integration projects
- Provide personal care services
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Successful drug test
