What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing guests with a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience by preparing and replenishing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up the breakfast buffet before service begins.
• Prepare and replenish food and beverage items throughout breakfast hours.
• Ensure the breakfast area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and assist with any requests.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation while following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize tables, counters, equipment, and serving stations during and after service.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Properly store food items and rotate inventory following FIFO guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, breakfast area, and storage spaces.
• Report maintenance issues, inventory shortages, or guest concerns to management.
• Follow all hotel, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous food service, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
