Education, Experience

Active Nurse Practitioner license to practice in General/Family Medicine(Must hold either an FNP Family Practice license OR a CRNP Family Practice license)

Minimum Of 2 Years’ Experience In Addiction Medicine

Shift: (In-Person) Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm, 8:00am - 4:00pm, or 9:00am - 5:00pm On-Call via phone or virtually

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Include doing history and physicals, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, sick call and preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts if has prescriptive authority).
• Provides support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed.
• Coordination (with the help of the nursing staff) with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate.
• Working with the nursing staff to make sure the medications are cost effective for the client after discharge and completing prior authorization requests for medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
