Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA
High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, offers comprehensive, individualized care through its specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We serve both adults and adolescents, with a focus on mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring concerns.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Adolescent Counselor to join our Lansdale team. This role focuses on delivering individual therapy to adolescent clients in an outpatient setting. Position Overview
The Adolescent Counselor is responsible for:
- Providing individual outpatient therapy to adolescent clients
- Conducting clinical assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans
- Collaborating with families, schools, and referral sources to support client progress
- Monitoring behavioral and emotional needs and adjusting treatment as necessary
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participating in clinical meetings and contributing to care coordination
- Supporting program goals and additional clinical duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
- Expertise in adolescent mental health and co-occurring conditions
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to engage teens in meaningful therapeutic work
- Effective communication with families and support systems
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations
- Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral healthcare
Required:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
- Active clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience providing therapy to adolescents in outpatient settings
- Hybrid model: opportunity to provide therapy both in-person and via telehealth
- Part-time role with flexible scheduling options
- Evening and/or weekend availability preferred, based on client needs
