The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe swimming environment, enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and delivering exceptional guest service to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies and administer first aid, CPR, or other lifesaving measures as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate incident and accident reports.
- Ensure pool decks, furniture, and surrounding areas remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Perform opening and closing pool procedures.
- Assist guests with questions regarding pool operations, amenities, and hotel services.
- Report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management promptly.
- Participate in required training, drills, and staff meetings.
- Maintain a friendly, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
- Current CPR/AED Certification.
- Current First Aid Certification.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm in emergency situations.
