Your Role
- Greet guests as they arrive or move through the bar area
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup on a daily basis
- Guide guests through the beverage menu using descriptive selling techniques
- Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to enhance guest interaction and experience
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and bar team members
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Provide timely and accurate check presentation to finalize the guest experience
- Requisition and stock all beer, wine, and spirits
- Maintain, prepare, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure quality
- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes and portion control guidelines
- Enter orders into the POS system and create checks for each guest
- Secure the bar at closing, including locking and storing inventory, handling cash drops, and balancing the bank
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience required
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, beer, and wine
- Neat, professional appearance with a pleasant personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide excellent guest service
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and follow basic instructions
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet local and state requirements for serving alcohol (age and certifications as applicable)
