As a Banquets Cook, you’ll prepare and present high-quality dishes for large-scale events while maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook banquet menu items according to hotel recipes and event specifications.
- Ensure timely and efficient food production for events of varying sizes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food setup and presentation for buffets, plated dinners, and specialty stations.
- Monitor food quality and freshness throughout service.
- Collaborate with the banquet and culinary teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Support inventory control and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Previous experience in banquet or high-volume cooking preferred.
- Strong culinary skills and ability to follow recipes and plating standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
