Join our talented culinary team and bring your passion for baking to life! As a Bake Shop Cook, you’ll assist in creating and presenting a variety of bakery items—from artisan breads and pastries to cakes and desserts—while upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts following hotel recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and quality to ensure exceptional products.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of supplies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to develop new menu items and seasonal specialties.
- Support event setups and presentations for baked goods.
- Provide excellent service by accommodating special requests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Previous experience in baking or pastry preparation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift up 25-50 pounds
