Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized care and treatment plans for home health patients
- Provide ongoing therapy and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercises
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, and care teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within EMR systems
- Travel to patient homes throughout the assigned coverage territory
- Ensure compliance with home health and clinical documentation standards
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Active Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience in Speech Therapy / Speech Language Pathology
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Home Health experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC and/or Homecare Advisor EMR systems
- Prior travel healthcare experience is a plus
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
