Key Responsibilities: -
- Lead structural design from the conceptual phase through design completion for projects with a focus on marine structures, including piers, wharfs, bulkheads, fender systems and other related structures.
- Participate in the development of project fees, schedules, scopes, budgets, staff planning and construction planning. Responsible for the effective management of change orders.
- Apply expert knowledge of commonly used structural concepts, practices, codes and procedures.
- Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects and find non-standard design solutions.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- Waterfront
- 4 years structural engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License Required
- minimum of 4 years structural engineering experience, or master’s degree in Structural Engineering and 6 years structural engineering experience
- Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of structural design codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE-7). Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
