Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care following the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide evidence-based care while respecting patient values, cultures, and care preferences.
• Support patient and family education to ensure understanding of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and peers to promote a positive and safe care environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and shared governance activities.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Mentor, guide, and support fellow nurses and team members.
• Apply evidence-based practices and contribute to decisions regarding clinical tools and care processes.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively, triage clinical situations, and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Ensure proper resource utilization, accurate documentation, and compliance with clinical standards and protocols.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and function effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and documentation tools.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program — Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — Preferred
• Active RN License (Single-State or Multi-State Compact) — Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification — Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — Required
• National certification in Med Surg or related specialty — Preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience — Required
• Experience with electronic charting/data entry — Required
• Familiarity with Epic or similar EHR systems — Preferred
