Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver safe, individualized, evidence-based critical care
- Provide relationship-based, patient- and family-centered care aligned with population-specific needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Practice in accordance with current clinical standards, nursing scope of practice, and code of ethics
- Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and quality initiatives
- Support evidence-based practice, research, and patient safety initiatives
- Complete all required competencies, education, and mandatory training
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor when assigned
- Proactively plan care across the patient care continuum
- Support efficient use of human and material resources
- Key Skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Direct patient care experience – Preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer and clinical technology proficiency
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively in emergencies
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
- Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
- Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
