Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in electronic trading, FIX client enablement, or production support within capital markets
- Proven experience operating independently in a front-office-aligned or client-facing technology role
- Deep hands-on expertise in FIX Protocol (FIX 4.2 / 4.4), including onboarding and certification
- Strong understanding of electronic equities trading, including DMA and algorithmic trading workflows
- Solid knowledge of equity, swap, and bond trade lifecycles
- Experience working directly with sales and trading desks in a production environment
- Strong UNIX/Linux skills, including shell scripting
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle / Exadata / SQL Server / Sybase)
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA scripting
- Working knowledge of XML or similar markup languages
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Release Management)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure trading environment
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across teams
- Broader markets knowledge including Futures and Options
- Prior experience in Equities Electronic Trading or Client Enablement teams
