Pay Range: $50 - $52/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant professional experience in software engineering and enterprise application development.
- Experience working within mainframe environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design principles, and system integration.
- Experience with code reviews, testing methodologies, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with:
- z/OS
- PLX
- Assembler
- Mainframe development and support tools
- Experience supporting print services, document processing, or batch-processing systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise production support environments.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring junior engineers.
- Exposure to process automation, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
