Pay Range: $41.66 – $69.63/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Part-Time
• 2-day shifts per week
• No call
• Schedule can be adjusted based on the sonographer's availability/needs.
• No holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac images for interpretation by cardiologists.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate imaging.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout examinations.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer questions as appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.
• Follow established imaging protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program required.
• ARDMS Registered or Registry Eligible in Adult Echocardiography (AE) required.
• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of rural hospital experience preferred.
• Active state license/credentials must be maintained as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
