Pay Range: $27 - $37/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Variable (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, flexible for extended hours)
- Schedule: Full-time
- Call Required: Yes, including weekends and holidays (weekend call: Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM, 1-hour response time)
- Travel: 1-2 times/month to off-site continuing care facilities
- Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures according to protocol
- Conduct transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
- Evaluate patient history to frame clinical questions and expand exams as needed
- Prepare equipment and position patients for optimal imaging
- Review images and report preliminary findings to physicians
- Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure comfort and understanding
- Participate in on-call rotation (1-hour response time)
- Travel to off-site facilities (1-2 times/month) for portable echocardiograms
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI, or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted – new graduates welcome!
- Graduate of accredited program OR 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted – new graduates strongly encouraged
- RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) required
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to respond within 1 hour for call
