Business Analyst (Operational Testing, Compliance & Control Management)

Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• CMMC testing, audits, and readiness activities
• ISO 27001
• SOC 2
• NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
• IT general controls and national security-aligned standards
• Control design, risk identification, and control objective definition
• Writing or refining control narratives and identifying control owner

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; CISA Certification– required.
• NIST, CMMC, ISO, SOC
• Microsoft Teams, Copilot, M365, IGRC tools (ServiceNow preferred) 
• Compliance, testing
• 5–7 years in IT compliance, cybersecurity governance, or risk management.
• Equivalent to BA3/BA4. (BA2s will not be considered.)
• Certifications
• CISA – required
• CCP – required (5–6 years of experience using CCP)
• ISO, SOC, or NYDFS-related certifications are a strong plus.
• External assessor experience is highly preferred.
• Technical & Compliance Expertise
• Must have demonstrable experience with:
• NIST 800-171
• IGRC tools (ServiceNow preferred)
• Familiarity with AUROA or Archer is helpful but not required.
• Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and M365
