Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE)
- Create and optimize graphs, reusable components, and parallel processing logic
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Ab Initio jobs
- Conduct data validation, quality checks, and error handling
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to best development practices
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 7 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing concepts
- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio (GDE, CoOperating System, EME)
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or similar)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, Client)
- Experience with performance tuning and job optimization
- Familiarity with file formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.)
- Experience working with large datasets and parallel processing
