Pay Range: $38 - $44/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly to the nursing team.
- Help maintain residents' comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety.
- Document care provided accurately in the facility's system.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and long-term care procedures.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Support individualized resident care plans and complete other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in long-term care.
- Prometric Hawaii CNA Certification – Required before start.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and every weekend.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-care skills.
- Active, applicable certification and compliance documentation.
