Import/Export Coordinator

Our client, a luxury brand, is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to join their team in Dayton, NJ. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring merchandise and non-merchandise arrive safely and efficiently, while adhering to all federal regulations of import/export.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review export shipment documentation for outbound After Sales shipments
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and couriers, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
• Process specialized documentation (CITES, Fish & Wildlife) and liaise with international teams for regulatory submissions
• Track and trace all shipments, provide timely status updates, and resolve issues impacting delivery
• Maintain accurate records and file entry documentation in accordance with compliance requirements
• Log shipment details in Excel and shared drives for cross-functional access and audits
• Collaborate with Customer Service to support After Sales processes and meet timelines
• Generate concise tracking reports and participate in compliance training as directed
• Support additional operational tasks and assist other divisions as needed

Job Qualifications:

• 2 years freight forwarding, transport and/or logistics experience
• Certifications in Supply Chain, Dangerous goods preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Knowledge in air and ocean operations and documentation including ISF, TSCA, Lacey Act
• Knowledge of incoterm
• Able to calculate dimensional weight
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage high-volume data
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Flexibility to work overtime or extended hours during peak periods
• Ability to stand for duration of shfit and lift up to 50lbs

Compensation: $28.84 - $31.88/hr
