Pylon is a fast-moving cybersecurity startup building software for the Department of Defense. Our tools reduce manual work, increase security, and cut waste. We recently helped the Defense Health Agency save $25M by automating their compliance workflows—and now we’re scaling through strategic reseller partnerships.
We’re hiring a Channel Manager to lead our reseller program. You’ll have full ownership—from activating trusted partners to driving new revenue. You’ll work directly with founders and move fast without red tape.

Responsibilities
- Leverage existing relationships with DoD-focused resellers and integrators
- Recruit and activate new partners (VARs, MSSPs, system integrators)
- Build strategic alliances with established DoD vendors
- Utilize government acquisition programs (GSA, SEWP, DoD ESI, etc.)
- Manage reseller-led sales opportunities and track pipeline in HubSpot
- Collaborate with marketing on training, collateral, and co-marketing
- Represent Pylon at key events (AFCEA, NDIA, TechNet, DISA)
- Track and improve performance metrics like partner onboarding and revenue growth
Requirements
- Proven success in channel management, channel sales, or reseller partnerships
- Strong federal network and ability to turn connections into revenue
- Expertise in government procurement and contract vehicles
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot or similar)
- Strong communicator and closer
- Thrives in fast-paced startups
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, NIST) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $85,000 – $150,000
- OTE: $200,000 – $350,000 (commissions and bonuses)
