Duties
- The project assistant’s responsibilities include managing the day-to-day requirements of multiple project managers to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Help project manager execute operational and administrative tasks
Operations:
- Filter telephone calls.
- Type and submit quotes/bids; purchase bid documents as needed.
- Process new locate requests online; call in locate damages and prepare file. Keep updated list of all active locates.
- Prepare monthly job cost and repair billing. Proved associated paperwork.
- Price and post inventory used in current jobs.
- Call in inspections as needed.
- Upload drawings for permits/submit permit applications online.
- Keep DOT driver’s up-to-date; schedule screening as required.
- Log training meeting and book conference room when needed.
- Contract management to include obtaining certificates of insurance.
- Schedule employee review meetings.
- Book Airbnb/hotel rooms for employees on long distance jobs.
- Submit OSHA logs.
- Administrative: Writing reports, analyzing data, and updating documentation.
- Performs any other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Education:
- Required: College degree or three to six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an office setting
Experience:
- Required: 3 years satisfactory work record, in a related position.
- Preferred: Computer experience.

- Strength: Physical strength is limited to lifting Banker’s boxes and file boxes.
