Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Monitoring Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating technician schedules, processing new customer accounts, communicating with monitoring stations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively prioritize multiple tasks, and has strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch technicians for service calls and installations
• Create, maintain, and adjust technician schedules as needed
• Set up new customer accounts and update existing accounts
• Obtain permits for new installations
• Review and process daily reports from monitoring stations
• Communicate with technicians, customers, and internal departments regarding scheduling and service updates
• Monitor work orders to ensure timely completion
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
• 2–4 years of office or administrative experience required
• Dispatching or scheduling experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Previous dispatch or scheduling experience
• Experience in the security, fire alarm, or monitoring industry is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
