This position is responsible for assisting and testing devices, recording, and generating results, and providing reports. Duties include assisting both the Inspectors/ Lead Inspector and/or Inspection Manager in collecting data and generating any necessary paperwork (Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates).
Work is primarily done on the night shift from 8 PM to 4 AM, and some weekends as well.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties include assisting both the Inspectors/ Lead Inspector and/or Inspection Manager in collecting data and generating any necessary paperwork (Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Testing and inspecting of Emergency Lights and Exit Signs
- Documenting failures and discrepancies through online reporting
- Report to site management on progress being made
- Must be punctual. Being on time is critical due to the regular need to perform functionality tests prior to a building’s tenant arrivals.
- Ensure that all inspections are completed on a timely basis and that inspections are done accurately and thoroughly.
- Upon completion of an inspection download the information and generate a completed Inspection Report.
- Participate in monthly team meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Technical Degree, High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable with acceptable experience.
- There is no experience needed for this position
- Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and be customer service oriented.
- Must be able and willing to work within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using test equipment including sensitivity test equipment, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communicating devices.
- Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
- Must be punctual. Being on time is critical due to the need to perform sound tests prior to building tenant arrivals.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights
- Mostly a physically demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders
- May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds
