The Licensing Specialist will research, maintain records, compile information, and submit the necessary forms for branch permits and licensing. They will manage and process specific permits and renewal as well as work with corporate licensing.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process all customer permits as needed.
Process permits with local counties, cities and states.
Process all license renewals.
Work directly with employees, operations, sales, corporate licensing, and central station to obtain permits, licenses, and other branch specific requirements.
Research requirements for company licenses.
Submits all company license paperwork for corporate licensing to completion.
Professionally communicates with representatives from counties, cities and states via email and phone regarding permits, licenses, and other branch specific licenses, research and processing.
Aid licensing efforts for employees as required by the state.
Ensure timely follow-up throughout all stages of permitting and licensing.
Communicate any permitting issues interfering with activation of accounts directly to operations.
Utilize a variety of industry specific software.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
6 months related experience in a data entry environment required.
Previous experience working with licensing desired.
Ability to work in a highly structured setting.
Strong organizational skills.
Goal oriented professional with strong work ethic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient data entry and data tracking.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
