Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and performing system checks in accordance to fire code; identifying code and system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Install or update burglar alarms, IT cameras and access control systems in commercial buildings.Test and repair existing alarm/IT cameras and access controls systems to the prescribed standardsPerform routine inspectionsProvide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers equipment as neededPreparing accurate and timely service tickets and reportsInspect and maintain company truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operationEnsure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communicationMaintain a clean and safe workspacePerform other duties assigned by managementEducation & Qualifications: Must have a minimum of two years' experience in security alarm/access control industryState issued TST License highly desiredExperience with commercial systems preferredTroubleshooting skillsDisplay knowledge of principles, practices, codes and regulations related to the workInterpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations without supervisionMust be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignmentsRequires the ability to maintain accurate records and reportsAdhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety PolicyProficiency in English (both written and verbal) is requiredMust have valid driver's license with clean driving recordOther Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights.Mostly a physically demanding role.
