SUMMARY: Responsible for Seed Management/Yard Crew - SEASONAL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:
(Other duties may be assigned)
Complete daily tasks as assigned by the department Supervisor
- Driving bobtail seed truck.
- Cleaning rail cars for loading.
- Fold tarps & sort bungees and straps.
- Tarp rail cars.
Maintain settings on equipment per Supervisor specifications
Report mechanical and electrical equipment problems to Supervisor
Perform and instruct employees on cross-training on all job requirements
Maintain good housekeeping practices as instructed by Supervisor
Instruct and enforce company safety rules: (IE LOTO, PPE, and Machine Guarding. Etc.)
Report accidents, near misses, and incidents to the Supervisor and Safety Director
Keep equipment in good operating condition
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

Assists in other areas as directed by supervisor.
Must comply with all PYCO Industries Inc. rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
Must comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, and DEQ regulations

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education; or up to one minted experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with l0s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Driver’s license preferred.
