What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Advisory and Consulting (ITAC) Staff Consultant position at PYA P C?
PYA is seeking an IT Advisory and Consulting (ITAC) Staff Consultant to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation. This individual will be a member of the Technology program supporting PYA’s Consulting Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply current IT knowledge of trends to identify business risk management issues and other opportunities for improvement
- Perform IT general control reviews and audits, and assist with detailed system walk-throughs
- Help clients to plan and manage the selection and implementation of new IT solutions
- Advise PYA clients on Information Technology compliance efforts, including but not limited to HIPAA, NIST and SOC engagements
- Assist PYA with other engagements serving as a trusted advisor to PYA clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- IT, internal audit, or risk advisory internship experience with a national or regional public accounting and/or consulting firm preferred
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills, including advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
- Creative problem-solving skills with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with a passion for helping clients
- Demonstrated experience self-reviewing work product and exhibiting attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for client projects and development opportunities
