The Opportunity

As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence Manager, you will provide strategic advice and business diligence services to clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will analyze financial information, focusing on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues, helping clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. You will articulate our purpose and values meaningfully, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

In this role within our Deals practice, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, while upholding professional and technical standards. You will play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm, leading with integrity and authenticity. This position offers a chance to develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial information to assess quality of earnings, assets, and cash flows in client transactions
- Leading teams in conducting financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Developing strategic advice and business diligence services to maximize client value in deals
- Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to meet client expectations
- Mentoring team members to enhance their skills and encourage growth beyond comfort zones
- Reviewing work to deepen team members' skills and knowledge in financial analysis
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to PwC's code of conduct
- Utilizing financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Identifying opportunities for profitable growth and optimizing business performance metrics

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience

- At least one of the following: an active CPA License, Certified Financial Advisor (CFA), Chartered Accountant or an MBA

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial statement analysis and modeling
- Utilizing advanced skills in M&A strategy and financial forecasting
- Excelling in business valuations and investment analysis
- Managing complex deal management and corporate finance projects
- Embracing change and innovation in financial due diligence processes
- Developing skills in coaching and mentoring junior team members

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
