THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant, Collections to join our North America Business Solutions Group. This individual will act as a subject matter expert who will clearly articulate the value Temenos products bring to an organization with our clients, prospects, and partners, demonstrating how our solution’s technology can address their specific challenges and needs. You will also be responsible for clearly articulating the value Temenos products bring to an organization. The Senior BSG Functional Consultant will build and maintain strong client relationships from C-Level to mid management and operations, serving as a trusted functional advisor throughout the sales cycle. OPPORTUNITIES Understand and articulate the value that Temenos offerings provide in the Account Servicing, Collections and Recovery space and be prepared to expand that knowledge in related product areas like Account and Loan Origination. You will collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads, understand FIs requirements, and take end-to-end accountability of a bid for business/functional aspects of the solution. You will serve as the Lead for any sales opportunities, in addition to being an individual contributor. You will own and deliver presentation demos and compelling proposals, including responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and RFPs (Request for Proposals). You will gather client feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancements. You will create and maintain quality functional documentation including solution architecture diagrams, and use of BSG tools for internal updates. You will develop a deep understanding of Temenos solutions and SaaS services and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. You will offer post-sales functional support as needed to ensure client success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, services, support, marketing, client engagement, bid management, and partners, to align sales strategies with company goals. You will provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements. SKILLS You should have an appetite to work across different financial institutions & understand their requirements – especially in the Credit Union space. You should have a strong familiarization on US banking practices, regulations, and operations. You should have You should have exposure in at least one of the following: Minimum of 7 years of experience required in the Banking industry. It is a plus if with a Software Vendor focused on financial services. Must have experience in Account Servicing, Collections and Recovery, specifically with Collection management systems and be able to communicate value-added functions like reducing delinquency, improving efficiency and streamlining specialty processes. Relevant background in Retail Account and Loan Origination from application start and data capture through booking on the core processor. Strong technical skill and aptitude as a business analyst or system administrator. Good knowledge of banking applications and lifecycle, including business processes. You should have good listening & story-telling skills through various mediums such as whiteboarding & MS Office Tools. You should have the ability to research and understand the needs of a prospect’s business, ecosystem, competition, and business & technology drivers. You should have analytical thinking with consultative mind set to create best-fit solution. You should have excellent presentation, writing and deal management skills across all levels of leadership. You should have the ability and willingness to travel domestic and international as required (up to 50% travel). You should be able to work well in an independent as well as team environment with effective communication with peers. You should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be hands-on with the latest product enhancements. You should have ability to work remotely as part of a strong core team as well as on own demonstrating quality initiative and ownership. You should be open, flexible and creative in regard to time management and scheduling. You should have previous involvement in the selection and implementation of a banking solution within a financial institution is a distinct advantage.
