Overview / Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced AI Voice Agent Implementation Specialist to build, configure, test, deploy, and optimize AI Voice Agents used in live production environments.

The successful candidate must already have hands-on experience building Voice Agents that handle live customer calls using platforms such as ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, Twilio, or similar technologies.

This is not an entry-level role for someone seeking to learn Voice Agent development for the first time.

The position involves developing and optimizing prompts, configuring agent workflows and integrations, testing realistic call scenarios, reviewing conversations, performing quality assurance, troubleshooting failures, and continuously improving agent performance.

Daily Responsibilities

• Build, configure, deploy, and support AI Voice Agents
• Customize Voice Agent behavior based on business, location, and use-case requirements
• Develop and optimize prompts, instructions, and conversation flows
• Test Voice Agents through simulations, test calls, and real-world usage scenarios
• Review calls, conversations, and system outputs to identify issues and optimization opportunities
• Perform quality assurance on responses, call behavior, workflows, and system performance
• Configure knowledge sources, appointment workflows, transfers, tools, and other agent actions
• Configure and troubleshoot APIs, webhooks, calendars, CRMs, and system integrations
• Resolve prompt, workflow, integration, and configuration issues
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams
• Maintain clear documentation of configurations, testing, and changes

Skills-Required

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building, configuring, testing, and supporting production AI Voice Agents that handle live customer calls
• Experience with platforms such as ElevenLabs, Vapi, Retell AI, Twilio, or similar technologies
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and conversational AI behavior
• Experience testing and improving AI Voice Agents used in production environments
• Ability to analyze calls, conversations, system outputs, and AI-generated responses
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Familiarity with large language models such as OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
• Ability to identify the cause of incorrect or inconsistent Voice Agent behavior
• Comfort handling varied tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Three or more years of relevant experience with conversational AI, Voice Agent implementation, or production voice systems
• Experience with appointment scheduling, customer intake, call transfers, or customer service workflows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
