Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Competencies
Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):
- Manage a large portfolio of existing accounts within the designated sales territory.
- Proactively contact current and prospective customers to solicit orders, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of territory health, geography, and sales trends.
- Prepare detailed call reports based on customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate and timely sales and bid contact information within the 365 system Software.
- Foster strong relationships with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Operations Management through hybrid work at the local plant.
- Be aware of competition and market trends as related to territory and industry.

Work environment (While at plant locations and some customer sites)
- Excessive Noise

Worker may be exposed to:
- Hazardous materials, Bleach, caustic, HCl and chlorine gas
- Outdoor weather conditions
- Work irregular hours, swing shifts, Day and Night Shifts with 12-hour shifts
Physical demands
- Traveling (4-8 nights minimum)

Travel required (States: Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota)
- Travel to other plants and customers are required based on business needs
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred
- 3-5 years outside sales experience in Industrial and/or Chemical Sales Preferred
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Required
- Periodic travel to corporate headquarters and locations outside the assigned territory
- Overnight travel required, depending on territory demands
- Reliable transportation required; position involves approximately 70% travel
- Weekly on-site plant visits to the Bellevue, NE manufacturing facility
- Candidate must reside in the Omaha, NE metropolitan area (within 50 miles or an hours commute)
