Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association's (PVCPA) mission is to promote use of longer-life, lower-maintenance, corrosion-proof PVC piping in water and wastewater systems – for real sustainability, strength and long-term asset management.
Description of Role:
PVCPA is seeking a Regional Engineer to represent PVC pipe and fittings and provide technical support to water/wastewater utilities and consulting engineers in North America.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Present to utilities and consulting firms on PVC pipe for water and sewer applications
- Meet with engineers and utilities to expand use of PVC pipe in standards and project specifications
- Answer technical questions and provide technical assistance on pipe projects
- Participate in industry committee activities and trade shows
Skills and Qualifications:
- Civil/mechanical engineering degree
- Knowledge of PVC piping standards, specifications, and procurement protocols
- Understanding of PVC pipe performance
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to interface with senior public officials
- Sales Experience Preferred
- Proficiency with contact-management software
**Must be willing to relocate to Dallas area (relocation package offered).**
