The Puyenpa family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Pipe Welder to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience of welding mechanical piping systems and working on commercial or industrial construction projects. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, perform high-quality pipe welds, and maintain a strong commitment to safety.
Location: DMV Area. Various locations (Traveling)

Responsibilities:
- Perform pipe welding using TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and piping drawings.
- Cut, bevel, and fit pipes and fittings before welding.
- Install and weld mechanical piping systems.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Follow OSHA and always company safety guidelines.
- Work closely with pipefitters and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Experience as a Pipe Welder or Mechanical Pipe Welder.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
- Knowledge of welding methods and pipe fitting processes.
- Ability to work in multiple welding positions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- AWS Welding Certification.
- Experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
