Hiring Salary Range: $243,424.00 - $250,726.72 base

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) who will provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services in an ambulatory care setting. In this role, you will deliver medical care to a diverse patient population, support the education of future healthcare providers, and contribute to the overall mission of advancing wellness within the Indigenous community.

What You’ll Do:

Clinical Care & Patient Support

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical, obstetric, psychiatric, and surgical conditions within your scope of credentialing.
  • Provide compassionate health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Make referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up care.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with a supportive team of medical providers, precepting mid-level clinicians as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and provide backup consultation to fellow PTHA providers.
  • Engage in Peer Review, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational reporting processes.

Education & Mentorship

  • Serve as a preceptor for medical students and residents, supporting the PTHA Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • Collaborate with medical schools as adjunct faculty when available.

Hospital & Community-Based Care

  • Perform hospital rounding for PTHA patients as scheduled (rounding only).

Compliance, Professionalism & Cultural Respect

  • Maintain accurate, timely charting and uphold HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, self-care, and respect for Indigenous cultures, traditions, and values.
  • Support infection control protocols and safety requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice medicine in Washington State.
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Current ACLS and/or PALS and/or ALSO certification.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records.
  • Experience teaching or precepting medical residents.
  • Commitment to teamwork, cultural humility, ethical standards, and high-quality care.
  • A genuine heart for service and respect for the Indigenous community.
