Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly while promoting responsible drinking practices; handle any issues or concerns professionally.
- Restock bar supplies promptly during shifts to ensure seamless service without delays.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service smoothly.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and retail math is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to creating lively atmospheres while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector, including catering or retail math proficiency.
- Ability to handle basic math calculations accurately for billing and inventory purposes; previous nightclub or brewing experience is advantageous.
