We are partnered with a rapidly growing defense technology company seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee U.S. federal, commercial, and international contracts. This role is highly cross-functional, working closely with Business Development, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to manage contract terms, ensure compliance, and deliver on mission-critical programs.
Job Description
This position requires a strong understanding of the contract lifecycle management process, including FAR, DFARS, OTA, FFP, T&M, etc. The successful candidate will lead negotiations, ensure compliance, manage scope changes, and coordinate across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Lifecycle Management and Negotiations
- Ensure Compliance with Contract Terms, Reporting, Deliverables, and Invoicing
- Manage Scope Changes and Contract Amendments
- Coordinate Across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and BD Teams
- Support RFI/RFP Responses and Proposal Efforts
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- 8 years of defense/government contract management experience
- Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and export control requirements (ITAR/EAR)
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- NCMA Certifications (e.g., CFCM) and Active Clearance are a plus
- Experience with Radar, Air Defense, Special Forces, or EW Systems preferred
