Full-time Maintenance Specialist (Monday- Friday)
2nd Shift 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
| Job Summary: | Responsible for landscaping and grounds maintenance services for the facility. Assists maintenance specialists with common building repair tasks, completes basic mechanic assistant functions, changes light bulbs, paints doors etc. |
| Job Duties/Responsibilities: | |
| • | Ensures landscaping is uniform with a satisfactory appearance, both hardscape and lawn areas |
| • | Follows established schedules for trimming/pruning, fertilizing, mowing the lawn, planting, etc |
| • | Ability to calculate amount of materials needed for landscaping projects |
| • | Ensures work sites are left clean and tools and equipment are returned to storage |
| • | Stays current with new landscaping techniques, supplies and equipment |
| • | Orients new staff to groundskeeping and equipment |
| • | Maintains outdoor equipment and advises Director of Plant Operations when services are needed (oil/filter change, replace part, etc.) |
| • | Collaborates with teammates and follows proper chain of command for escalating issues |
| • | Performs other duties as assigned |
| Education Experience: | HS Graduate or Equivalent |
| Years of Related Experience: | 1-2 Years |
| License/Certificate Required: | No |
| Driver's License Required: | Yes |
| Travel Requirements: | 25% |

| • | Possesses knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems and maintenance, herbicides/pesticides |

| • | Adheres to all hospital policies and procedures |
| • | Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn TrackIt and Workhub systems |
| • | Ability to use hand tools and power tools |
| • | Excellent organizational and time management skills |
