Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop/Yard Supervisor to support our team in the shop and out in the field. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in repair and service of equipment, yard organization and contributing to the overall success of our business. This position requires the ability to transport small equipment or supplies via truck and trailer, heavy lifting and some mechanical applications.
Duties
- Manage Yard and Shop, including yard cleaning, organization and repair.
- Weekly inventory and supply checks for shop.
- Assist with fleet management, this includes equipment, trucks and trailers.
- Our company is an "all hands on deck" type of place. Must be flexible and able to wear many different hats
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to shift gears often.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Mechanical knowledge. Construction experience a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members at all levels.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
