SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Pushcart Players' 2026-2027 season (see breakdown).

PREPARATION

Members should prepare a brief monologue, preferably comic, and a cut of a contemporary musical theater song (please bring sheet music in the proper key). Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

Breakdown

PUSHCART PLAYERS 2026-2027 SEASON

Male and female actors who sing and move well with strong character versatility. Must be available for daytime / weekday engagements and be able to participate as ACTOR/ASM. Limited short-term out-of-town touring; primarily day tours from central location in Verona, NJ. Actor/ASMs will play multiple roles in various productions, which have varying opening dates throughout the season.

Mainstage productions include: "A MORE PERFECT UNION," "CUENTOS DEL ARBOL," "KALIEN THE ALIEN," "LIFT EVERY VOICE," "A SEASON OF MIRACLES," and "STONE SOUP AND OTHER STORIES."

NOTE: All roles are suitable for non-traditional casting

SEEKING:

Player One: male identifying, 20 or older, able to present as a 12 year old boy, African American, tenor

Player Two: female identifying, late 20s-40s, African American, alto/mezzo

Player Three: female identifying, late 20s-30s, Asian alto/soprano

Player Four: male identifying, late 20s-30s, African American, lyric baritone

Player Five: male identifying, late 20s-30s, Asian, tenor

Players Six: male identifying, late 20s-30s, Caucasian, lyric baritone
