Summary:
The Field Operations Manager is a leader focused upon delivering quality customer service and value to new and existing customers within the Proud American Company affiliate services. Responsibilities include direct service delivery to residential and commercial customers, sales to new and existing customers, service scheduling, and operational leadership and support of field teams. Regular local travel is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Participates in hiring and training of field technician team members.
Organizes and oversees schedules and work of assigned team members.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Participates in discipline and termination, as needed, according to company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
Actively participates in service delivery on a regular, weekly basis.
Serves as a high-quality field trainer for field technician team members.
Actively engages in customer service support, satisfaction and upselling.
Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.
Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies.
Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data to achieve production goals.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education & Experience:
Associates degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Field service business experience preferred.
