Newburyport, MA. This position is 100% onsite.

About The Opportunity
Pursuit is looking for a capable, hardworking 2nd shift press machine operator candidate for a growing team here in Newburyport MA
Location:
Newburyport, MA. This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities
- Run Press machines with skill and efficiency.
- Able to identify issues and recommend solutions when issues arise with the press.
- Proficient with measuring instruments.
- Provide technical expertise in Progressive Cell.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
- 1-3 years of Press operator background and/or experience in a machine shop.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge of Tool and Dies
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
