About the Opportunity: 

As a Driver / Utility Person you will, deliver and pick up product to and from our locations and ensuring that parts are transported without damage and to the correct destination. Additionally, you will work in the shop on various tasks before and after making pickup and deliveries if needed.

Location: South Windsor, CT - This position is 100% on site, Monday through Friday with overtime available (1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm). This role may require time in Plainville, South Windsor & Enfield, Manchester and Eastford Connecticut

Responsibilities: 

• Pick up and deliver parts to and from the assigned destinations.
• Ensure parts are not damaged in transport
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies correct parts
• Help in Shipping Department as needed (Only if there aren’t deliveries or pickups to be made)
• Complete daily safety checklist
• Keep vehicle clean
• Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a safe driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Strong communication skills 
• Strong Mechanical skills 
• Strong trouble shooting skills

Working Conditions

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. 
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 
• Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
• Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
