What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Hire position at Purspirit Cannabis?
Purspirit is looking for general staff that can help us grow and serve the State of Arkansas MMJ community to the best of our abilities. We are looking for reliable & adaptable individuals that can bring a strong positive attitude and go-getter mentality to the job. Most importantly we are looking for individuals that have an extreme passion for cannabis. Currently only part time positions are available.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Willingness to take on new challenges daily & solve problems critically
- Have great situational awareness
- Take direction & complete tasks as directed in a timely and professional manner
- Greet patients upon their arrival to Purspirit with a smile & positive attitude
- Create & maintain patient profiles within the AR Seed-to-Sale tracking system
- Guide patients through the cannabis purchasing process based off their individual needs
- Maintain a strong level of cannabis education as new science & research is completed
- Stay up to date on both federal & AR cannabis laws as they are modified over time
- Maintain a high standard of inventory control & cannabis regulation compliance
- Assist in receiving inventory on a regular basis
- Prepare & organize online orders from our e-commerce platforms
- Field patient phone calls and communicate at a high level based off their requests/needs
- General cleanliness tasks such as sweeping & mopping, cleaning the bathrooms & display stations, etc.
- Handle the entirety of the transaction process accurately & efficiently in a rapid pace environment
- Other duties as necessary, this list is not exhaustive
Requirements:
- Must be 21
- High School Degree, equivalent, or relevant job experience
- 2 years in a customer service role is highly preferred
- Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not necessary for qualification
- Ability to stand on one's feet for up to 8 hours at a time & capable of lifting over 50lb
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Dispensary Agent card (grants eligibility to work in the AR MMJ industry)
- Work retail hours including early evenings and weekends

- Day shift
- Evening shift
